Uloma House raises awareness and addresses social determinants of health (SDOH) in underserved communities by providing necessary resources that will promote health equity and wellness, which will ultimately improve overall health outcomes. Social determinants of health (SDOH) are non-medical factors, such as housing, education, community and economic stability, that affect health outcomes. They include the conditions in which people are born, grow, work, live, and age. Uloma House offers multiple services, such as SDOH education, health & wellness literacy sessions, life skills workshops, and two-generation approach activities.
