Fulton County’s Department of Community Development enhances residents’ quality of life by investing in people, neighborhoods, and community partnerships. The Community Services Program provides $5.3 million annually to approximately 150 nonprofit agencies delivering essential services. Through CDBG, approximately $900,000 annually supports municipal infrastructure, public facilities, and park improvements. The Department also advances affordable housing and homeless services through rental assistance, home repairs, homebuyer assistance, and supportive services. Youth programs, including Connected Youth Leadership, Youth Commission, and My Brother’s Keeper, provide mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and skills training. Together, these initiatives strengthen communities and expand opportunities for Fulton County residents.
