The Home Defense Program of Atlanta Legal Aid is a specialized unit that provides legal advice, referrals and representation to low and moderate income homeowners who are at risk of losing their homes, have been subjected to predatory mortgage lending practices, have been wrongly denied mortgage assistance or loan modifications, and/or may have fallen prey to home purchase scams or title or home equity theft.
